ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology2,3

* Three independent display controllers
o Drive three displays simultaneously with independent resolutions, refresh rates, color controls, and video overlays
* Display grouping
o Combine multiple displays to behave like a single large display

Mentions combining three displays with independant resolutions etc. so im hoping this is possible.

I cant see why portrait 900x1600 2560x1600landscap portrait 900x1600 wont work.
The pixel heights are equal 4360x1600

i read on WSG (i think) that you can't do this. they all have to be portrait or all be landscape. can't mix em

Yep, I've given up on the dream for the time being. It seems that if I want to run my middle screen at 2560x1600 and run eyefinity over 3 monitors, then the only option is to buy 3x30 inchers, which not only is ridiculously expensive, but I haven't really got the desk space.

I have 2 old Dell 2405's lying around so I'm going to see if I can pick up a 2408 (with displayport) or another cheapo second hand 2405 (if those DP-DVI adapters become readily available in the UK).

It's not 2560x1600x3, but it'll still look awesome and in the event that Eyefinity does support 20x30x20 in the future I can look at it again...
