5870X2

thats strange, there is a pic of 5850x2 with very interesting cooler on it and then later there is a comparison pic that seems to show 5850x2 with a regular stick cooler.

Who knows how much it will cost, but when it comes it will be performance king so it wont be cheap. I'd say assuming 5870 prices hold at £300 then maybe we will see £450-£500.

That not even taking into account the possible performance of crossfired 5850 (something we still dont know thanks to total lack of reviews)

Where did you get the price from? Total guess? Rumours have being around for days that the 5870x2 will be $599 = £460 over here.

I would expect the 5870 to then drop slightly in price.

Sadly, we already know what nvidia is like: it's hellbent on trying to further fragment the already suffering PC Gaming market for its own selfish reasons - Ultimately to the detriment of gamers.

Paying developers so AA won't work on competitor's cards? Shameful.

Surely if there was any evidence of this then ati would have already taken legal action?

Batman: Arkham Asylum is the game being referred to. nvidia cards have in game aa settings through the menu. if the game detects an ati card the settings are not available.
