5920k, 5930k or wait?

did you go straight to a ti sli set up or did you at one point have 1 card and then added a second?

just thinking if you did go by the one card, and then added another then you should have noticed the difference or actual benchmarking on your system should have had different figures by a huge margin?

Yes I had one first then added a second, and yes I also do some benchmarking on one card, and yes adding the second card makes a big difference in games that support multi-card

hah? what do you mean? I just got a x99 gigabyte mobo that has 2 pcie lanes at x16, so it states on the manual that I can only go 2 gpu's max in sli only on a 5820...

so if I get a 2nd ti and place it in my 2nd x16 slot for sli will I not utilise the full bandwidth?

or are you on about something else?

The 16x infers the slot length, these things should be in the manual, configuration for 28 lane CPU should also be in there

I have the 5930k, mainly got it incase I went for 3 way and the increased lanes for other devices. Which I may do next year depending with pascal. A 3rd 980Ti might be an option. If you want 2 gpu's get the 5820k.
