5970 Low Performance

I just got 33fps with everything maxed out at 1920x1200 with my 5870.

Are you sure it was really maxed out?

Well I put everything on/highest so I can only assume it was all on.

you HAVE to run applications/games in fullscreen mode (not windowed mode) in order for crossfire or multigpu to come into play

and before that make sure you have catalyst a.i. enabled (standard or advanced) and have anything that depends on application setting checked.

otherwise in window mode you are only using one gpu. even if you have two gpus on one pcb
