£5K Monster PC for Mumbo Jumbo

He's worth about £3.5m, so should be ok buying his own monitor etc.

say who? ha ha

the online things that say how much youtubers are worth are wildly inaccurate i remember watching a video where one guy said that the internet thinks he's worth 7 million but he still had a mortgage and drove a ford focus

It is a nice clean build :). Not the one I would put with 5K but any means, but it is definitely a cool machine :).

Thanks bud. Yes, same for me. If I had just been given a budget and requirements in terms of applications etc then it's far off what I would have wanted to do for him.

For him it will be great and it has a very nice and professional look, I guess that looks are very important for a Youtuber. I always think more in terms of raw power and tend to forget the rest of the things, like the amount of noise, looks... mine does not have RGBs at all, for example :).

I assume the specs are for video editing more than playing. It's not my bag, but a lot of hours go into producing those kind of vids.

If any of us could get a free 5k machine we'd take it with open arms, good for him.

I'd question a loop, just because I think you should build your own so you know how it works and how to properly maintain it, but each to their own.

Awesome job fella, did you get a shout out?

Yeah, I think for playing/streaming and editing, personally I would have gone Threadripper I think.

Loops can be as simple or as complicated as you want, given I didnt know his level of experience a simple loop does him fine, a shame MSI wanted to keep GPU air cooler but again understand why.

Thank you, shout out, sadly no, I got a link in the video description though :)

crikey they paid for a 5 grand computer for someone who makes minecraft videos ? :o

they are good minecraft videos but still holy heck ha ha

build looks awesome!

Based on two of the most expensive components to go in the system came from MSI, it'll have cost them significantly less.

I can't imagine the cost price of a 3090.

The internals look nice though, not sure i'm a fan of the case though, that plasticky silver sort of ruins it.

The 3090 runs retail around 1700 GBP, motherboard around 500 GBP I believe.

Pleased you like the build, the case though...Ive never built with Thermaltake before but if they reached out to ask me to do them a build I might even decline. I said it in my recent Silent Base 802 video, a be quiet mid range case is extremely better than the Level 20, in terms of build quality and value. For saying this is one of TTs best offerings I was highly underwhelmed. The first one actually arrived with the feet broken off and damage to the front panel, that might just be down to the courier, but overall, I expected better.

Is it pastle liquid or white piping?

If it's the liquid that's white, he'll be scrambling for help to flush the system in a years time....or MSI will just throw another £5k machine at him :/

White coolant, it's not the brand or color I would have gone for but it's what he wanted, and more what was available and in stock at the time.
