this is the correct range of answers above and below the figure given
it isn't that people get it wrong, we all do that from time to time, its the fact the continually argue their case in a way that makes no sense, nor stands to the basic scrutiny.
There's more pain in my head from reading this thread, than if I'd taken a lump hammer to add nails to my nethers.

man invented simple maths, simple maths was important...

man invented excel - simple maths became optional

man invented smart phones - no one needs maths

add multiply and divide up to 1000 is useful for day to day stuff bigger numbers...... ask google / a calculator / excel

People seemed to struggle to even understand what was being asked of them. Google probably won't help if they don't understand a question.
