Short story -

Relocated back to Birmingham from London. Have rejoined EasyGym in the city centre and want to pick up my stronglifts routine where I left off (around 72.5kg SQ).

Thing is I can only go to the gym at lunch time so will only really have about 50-55 minutes to do my workout. I was planning to do it like this in order to ensure I get a good workout and be back at my desk in good time -

Monday - Squats only
Tuesday - Last 2 workouts from Workout A/B
Wednesday - Squats only
Thursday - Last 2 workouts from Workout B/A
Friday - Full Workout A/B

Am I messing around with the workout too much? Will I still get the same results just slower?

If you could move Friday to a Saturday morning it would be preferable but it shouldn't really be a problem. The key thing is the squatting 3 times a week really :)

Back to desk mate. So yesterday I did my squats and squeezed in the BP. Got back to my desk 5 minutes over allotted lunch hour which isn't the end of the world.

I had the same issue. I just started work a little earlier and ok'd it with my line manager.
Is that not worth a shot?

When i did 5x5 (uninterrupted by gym a-holes on their mobile phones) i managed it in just under 40 mins. I did each major compound, and swapped bench with military each workout.

But yeah....try and get some extra time if i were you.

The other option is to do something like 531, which is admittedly a change in routine but I can get the main lift plus two assistance in 45 minutes quite comfortably (although it's a home gym so there's no waiting around)

Just lower your rest time, 1 minute rest, 1 minute for sets is 10 minutes for each exercise. ;) You'll just need to be quick in the shower!

Though, sadly it's never that simple in the gym.
