6.9's are out

Doesn't say they are x1950 supported though, unless they class it as x1900 as well, as its not in the unsupported list either, so x1950 owners will just have to try them and hope for the best i spose, be a shame if they aint though, would mean no drivers for another month odd yet, and thats if the 6.10's would work as well.

EDIT: Ohh they changed the little icon to a red ATI logo instead of the computer with the disc in front of it. :D

Ill install these shortly. :)

6.9's are late as the 6.8's have been out about 6 weeks now. :)

Installed em and quickly ran 03, around the same score so they'll do me, just need to get em tested in games now. :p

Hi,

Downloaded and installed, did a quick 3dmark 06 test got a extra 200 points, 9755 instead of 9555.

Also during the Canyon test I was getting artifacts and colour problems with 6.8, 6.9 seems to have stopped this.

So probably not even 1fps :p

Dont worry about it mate, its game performance you have to look at

Got the new one's installed them, and now half of the maps on BF2 seem to be just black? Anyone else having problems. How do u go back to previous versions??

Unistall them, then safe mode for driver cleaner to rid all of ATi traces, then reboot bang 6.8's back on, or just run the ATi Uninstaller, then once rebooted put the 6.8's back on. :)

I do a long winded way though which works for me, add/remove, remove drivers dont reboot, remove CCC, don't reboot, then i run the ATi uninstaller to remove any leftovers, reboot install others. :)

Just installed the 6.9s. I use ATI Tray Tool and I noticed that under Hardware>System Information, my 6.8s were listed as 6.7. Everything back to normal with the 6.9s though, they are listed as 6.9.

Anyone else notice this with the 6.8s?

I think that was just a slip up with the 6.8 release, they are actually the real 6.8s, they just forgot to update the version number.
