How Many CPU Cores Do I Need For Gaming?

6 cores are enaugh for gaming? do you believe that 6 and 8 cores will be enaugh in the next 3 years΄; or do yoy believe that 12 cores will be the future in some years from now??

Do you expect to see games optimised for 8 core CPUs along with their usage in the consoles?

yes 6 cores are good for now but we have to look a lit further.. in the future this i mean..

ps5 and xbox uses 8 cores so the newest games from now will be optimized for 8 cores this i mean..


is very bad idea for now to buy 6 cores in 2020 when we see that more games from now will be optimized for 8 cores////

for the past 3 years the six cores were good..
but for the upcoming newst games 6 cores will not be enaugh...
this i mean..

the problem with most people is they dont think/.

i am saying most people say buy 6 core now and you are ok.. and after 3 years buy 8 cores .

example if someone buys now one 5600x costs exampple 400 euros and after 3 years buys one 12 core whicj costs 700 euros

so you will have spend 1200 corect>>??> so the best deal is to buy one 12 core chip now and you will be ok for more 4 years..

this i mean..

Console devs have certain CPU IPC and GPU performance at their disposal with the PS5 and XBOX Series X. The XBOX is the better of the two, but it's only running an optimized Zen 2 with no boost clock. Per other discussions, it is a 3700Xish processor but no boost and low power limit. The Zen 3 IPC on the 6-core 5600X at stock, under stock boost, and especially when overclocked will surpass whatever the consoles deliver with "8 cores" and this will be forever. The lack of boost clock will just kill consoles compared to what we can run on PC.

GPU power on the XBOX is lower than the upcoming 6800 (fewer CUs) and the PS5 is even worse. The 6800 is supposed to have 2080TIish performance and the console GPUs will be worse with lower CU count. As we know with gaming, GPU power is far more important than CPU power. Are people trying to tell me the consoles are going to outclass my 5600X and 3080? Not a chance in hell.

you mean that the 5600 x can work better in games against 5950 x>??

also the ps5 have 8 cores that means that most games will be optimized for 8 cores corect??

so the safest way is to go in 5800x or 5950 x/? for gaming?>?

also can the developers to optimize the games for 8 cores which ps5 uses??
because i read that ps5 uses only the 6 cores for gaming and the rest 2 for os and etc

i am saying if ps5 is using 6 cores for gamimg what kind of cpu do i have to buy?? 8 cores or 12 cores???

do you believe that Any Zen 3 CPU with 6 cores or more will be plenty for gaming for the next 3-5 years. ???

so in most games the 5950x and 5800x are more faster from 10900k is most games?? 1080p and 1440p??

how must faster is 5950x and 5800x from 10900k in 1080p and 1440p??
 
so base in these reviews the 5800x and the 5950x have managed to destroy the 10900k corect??

also why death standing performs better in 8 and 12 cores??? 5800 and 5950 x against 10900k?>?

all these years the 10900k was front from amd but now amd won the intel...#


do you believe that the newest upcoming games will perform better and optimized for 5800x and the 5950x ?? against 10900k?? and the upcoming rocket lakes and alder lakes.>??
