Hey everyone,

As per the title, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to begin thinking about replacing my PSU. I haven't had any problems and has been a rock solid PSU for the entire time I've had it, But I did read somewhere that it is recommended to replace a psu every five to six years. Personally I have no idea whether this is true or not which is why I'm asking.

if I were to replace it I would appreciate some recommendations along the same lines, I have no idea what the best PSU's are these days, Although I've heard some pretty good things about the be quiet! Series of power supplies?

I've got a EVGA Supernova G2 1000w which I'm pretty sure is made by Superflower. It's about 11 years old now and still going strong so I wouldn't worry at 6!
Yeah I picked the super flower at the time because I knew it was a reliable brand, really glad to hear that it should handle everything just fine for a good few years to come.
