No, you just update your bank details and request a new card with new name etc. When booking flight just select Dr from drop down list. When you update passport change your title.

Those that do make the move aren't the reason the NHS is on the verge of failing, rather than the reason they're leaving.

In my experience, every August became "F1 needlestick month" with the influx of the new foundation doctors. Make sure you don't become a statistic and take a sharps box with you.

Mate we import thousands of foreign doctors every year from less economically developed countries. Something like 40% of the workforce is foreign trained. We've 'stolen' billions from places like India & Pakistan etc in the form of some of the brightest and most capable young minds we have. Think about that before someone leaves the UK.

hopefully you will have an idea already of career path as increasingly specialities are trying to pigeonhole you earlier and earlier after you qualify. do some homework about the entry requirements for the training scheme you are thinking of which may influence your F2 choices. get through F1 and don't do anything that pops you onto the radar of the GMC.
