Id be downloading 1080p films all day long, and running a web business lol.

How much does that connection set you back, and it must have limits of GB and hosting useage.

I want something faster than the current 6mbit I get on ADSL2+ from Be (beats BT who can only offer me 3mbit).
But I refuse to go Virgin Media, don't trust them now and didn't trust them as NTL.

It sucks on VM pulling stuff at 6230kbs, on topic i got lots of friends abroad that get stupid speeds its just the UK is crap with things like this.

Yep the UK always seems to be the last to get things, they don't work like other countries and we get charged the most for the privilege.

Here's a link to the ISP I am using. Sorry it's in Danish, but I guess you could babyfish it

It's not cheap, but you have to factor in the wages out here are a lot higher than in blighty, so I guess it evens out a bit. I also have fixed IP which is about £1.15 a month extra.

Usage wise i'm not sure, but I did DL the whole of season 3 Heroes from iTunes in HD the other day and no ones complained yet.

THB I had multiple DL enabled, but I think I could have watched them in realtime whilst they was downloading no probs. Through this service I also have IP TV comming through the same box on the wall. It just has an ethernet socket labled IP TV that you slap a patch lead into. I'm only running on the 10/10 plan for now as i'm not a heavy user, hence the thread to get some idea's on what to do if I went for the full wack.
