Upgrading my dads PC after it's gone on the blink again for the 3rd time.

Have a case so looking to replace everything inside to avoid troubleshooting the problem again.

Where's the best place to save money? Any obviously wrong choices? Not massively clued up on RAM performance to cost ratio/benefit.

Graphics card is because he quite likes my VR stuff - would like him to be able to borrow it now and again. He also does 3D design work.

i5 because between 3D stuff and general multitasking I don't think he'd survive without 4 cores.

Modular PSU because I'm the one building it so he can spend the extra money so I don't have to faff around!

Boom - I'll swap out the motherboard for this:
Prime B250M-K Intel B250 (Socket 1151) DDR4 Micro ATX Motherboard - £69.95

£612 including shipping so bang on the budget considering I get it free.

So I think it's just a parts check - should everything work together?

Edit: also this I think looks like faster RAM:
Fury Black 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C15 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (HX424C15FBK2/8)
