£600 pc

My brother is wanting to upgrade his pc for his birthday. he currently has a 1080 gpu not sure on any other specs etc. what would be best value for money. his budget is £600. he currently plays roblox but is wanting to play games like rainbow 6 siege. thanks

Without knowing the full spec of his PC, including the exact make/model/wattage of his power supply it's pointless to suggest anything.

Not possible for £600, not if he wants a big upgrade on the 1080.

If he perhaps has AM4 and could drop in a higher end CPU then you could do that + GPU for about £600 but you won't be getting a full build these days unfortunately.

As mentioned if you can gets the specs - so CPU, motherboard, GPU, RAM, PSU, monitor resolution (to know what to aim for) then you can figure out where is best to allocate the money.

R6S on a 1080 with a decent enough CPU will hit ~ 100fps at 1440p anyway.

As other's have mentioned we would need to know the full spec to determine where his £600 is best spent.

If the question was what graphics card for £600 then the 9070XT would be what most would probably recommend.
