I'm in full agreement with martin363's advice too - it's definitely worthwhile having a positive pressure layout. Stops dust getting sucked in through every little crack and crevice of a case and allows YOU to control what the air does. Only thing I would add to that mantra is the inclusion of filters on all intakes. Means you virtually never have to worry about dust coating every last component in your beloved PC.
Amen to that! I've only ever found side fans to disturb airflow. My preferred ideal has always been to install intakes @ the front of the case and exhaust out of the back and possibly rear top area of a standard case. Gets everything moving in a controlled, useful direction.Still using the window as proof that you don't need side fans![]()
