Hey,
Will a 600w psu be suitable for my new ITX build as I'm struggling to find a 750w Sfx psu in stock..
Build list:
AMD 5900x
Rtx 3070
1tb nvme
Probably 6 fans and aio.

3070 is around 250w; 5900x depend on how you run it. If you stay within the TDP budget then it shouldn’t be asking for more than 150w.

so ya 600w will be just about enough

ok thanks. Looks like I ideally need a higher watt psu as I would like to overclock both a little depending on temps etc. I usually go for well known brands like Corsair but there 750w sfx psu is not in stock until next year it looks like. I can get a Silverstone SX700-PT psu, But I've never heard of them?

Silverstone are good.
Always get a bit more power than you need, put your spec in Outervision calculator on max overclock settings.... mine comes out at 716W!

Should be alright but I'd aim for 700W+

My spec isn't that far removed from yours and 600w on a good quality gold rated 10 year old PSU is fine. You need to be overclocking and absolutely smashing the CPU and GPU in synthetic benchmarks to get anywhere near peak power. Note, my CPU and GPU draw 350-400W by themselves when stressed.

Ideally you want your PSU to be no more that 80% loaded because it gets inefficent and reduces the life going over that.

Corsair SF750 750 Watt Fully Modular Platinium SFX PSU/Power Supply can be had from a competitor and is in stock
I've searched everywhere are you sure? Sent a pm. I've found the Silverstone one and will go with that elsewhere unless Overclockers gets stock of any higher wattage sfx psu.
