What problem?

The 6233 holds as many texts as can be fitted onto the phones memory. The most I've had in the inbox/sent items combined at any one time was 1500. That took up just under 1mb of memory.

Read the review link they said about it riht at the bottom. PS.

Can someone point me where to go get one of these sim free? Will 02 high street shops stock them in black on PYG?

O2 only have them in Silver :( But its not bad tho.

Ive got firmware 3.70 and not having any problems - theres a few bugs but nothing serious :)

Texting is identical to the 6230 mate!

How on earth do you disable notes? I've got an annoying "you have no new notes" - I don't WANT any new notes, I want the damned text to away :D. Anyone got any ideas?

Only thing I hate is when you turn it off, that stupid Orange home screen comes back again!

If this is the Orange customisation, then I apologise to Nokia :p

Anyone know how to get rid?

The black one is the same, and no, I don't think it scratches easily at all.

hi all
looking to get nokia 6233 but with all the problems with network branding think it would be better to pickup sim free. orange and t-moble seem to be the biggest problem networks for this phone. Had a look at vodafone but it seems they have two types of the phone on offer 6233 and 6234 any real diffence here in spec. sale rep at vodafone says they are the same but if you were to get them on pay you go the 6233 is a £180.00 and 6234 £117.00 .
thats a good £50 saving so something must be missing any help.

Just buy it on O2 then? :)

Got a 6233 last week. Absolutley fantastic. O2 reception in my house is very marginal, and it has made it very useable, if not perfect.

Good battery life, works well with the bluetooth carkit in my car. Could be a little bit smaller, but not really a problem.

yes but on contract 12months =25.00 month to pricey or payhasgo =180.00 in which case just as well get it simfree with just the nokia Firmware for same price.

Pay As You Go.

£180 + £120 = £300 (12x £10 monthly top up) Total: £300

Pay monthly.

Free phone + £300 (12x £25 monthly contract) Total: £300

A lot more call time and texts etc..

I know which one I would go for...
