6300+ds3 voltage problem

hi there just got my new system up and running ds3 e6300 2gig of geil and a 8800 gtx all stock 8129 3d mark 06

but currently when i look into cpu-z 1.38 i see my cpu had been runnning at 1.424 i have my fsb at 300 atm but i havent touched the cpu voltage in the bios whats going wrong?

its fine when i boot into windows at stock as i just set it back to 1.8 and cpu-z now shows my voltage as 1.328

i have disabled eist,andthermal monitor anything else i should look for with this combo or ideas's

also if u have any tips found handy when overclocking this combo would be sweet

oh yea i left cpu voltage as set to normal should i put the default voltage in there to lock it at that?

mate ive looked em and i dont see it anywhere btw im for traxx over xmas dont make me slap u when im up in portrush

edit also i just burned my hand on my northbridge :< that hurt and i got it on stock safe enuff to overclock when its that warm already?
