64 bit Firefox

Just found these:

Seems some people are doing 64 bit compiles of Firefox. Are these any good/faster/legit? Or are they pointless? :>

pointless me thinks. it's only a browser. and i don't think there are any 64 bit plugins for flash/java/etc...

I think most people are going to wait untill Mozilla come out with their own 64bit version, as in more offical. hopefully bringing with java64 and watnots..
saying that, in vista or xp 64, is IE not in 64bit? and does that not have flash?

the firefox 64 for linux doesnt work with 32 bit plugins, so i can see it being the same with windows, and also pointless seeing as its just a web browser and i assume the 32 bit one is just fine. firefox being glitchy on vista is one of the things which is holding me back from getting vista, so i hope mozilla come out with a new version within the next few months which works 100% on vista.

i have been using firefox on vista 64bit for over a month now and i haven't had any problems so far.
