£65 Educational Gift Card - can you use in store?

I was wondering if I could use the educational gift card instore to purchase hardware rather than use for apps etc.

Does anyone know if I can or whether you reckon it would be worth selling to someone for like £50?

You can only use it for Apps, this is why it's called an App Store Card. I sold mine in the MM for £40 didn't need it to purchase Apps so was better off having the money.

Well technically it's not called an App Store Card, it says "University Gift Card", wondering whether anyone has tried to exchange it instore?

You can use it in iTunes, iOS App store and OSX App store. Surely you'll need to purchase some software, an app, some music or a film at some point?

Technically yes, but you can only use it on Applications. Might be worth trying to exchange it for a discount on hardware but I doubt it will work since it's for Apps.

just use it to buy music/films on iTunes. i did
