£65 graphics replacement

So my 2 week old HIS 4870 1GB failed spectacularly (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs7bIKktbuE see the end of the video for pretty colours/artifacts).

I payed £65 for it as open box stock, same for the one before that that also failed, so I'm gonna ask for a refund this time.

What would be the best replacement I could get for this price? Thinking new preferably, and not just on OcUK (just say elsewhere without naming if it's elsewhere).

1080p unfortunately and either that or used with a warranty.

DOH! stupid me just spotted your sig. That means that you do need a 1GB card then which doesn't help.

Frankly you'll not get anything new for £65 that even comes close to the power of a 4870 from anywhere.

I think it has to be s/hand again. Don't know if the last pair you had came from Members Market but that's your best bet, truly. If you haven't done so already then enable your Trust and take a look around MM once your access to MM is authorized, usually takes less than a day to come through.

At £65 it has to be a second hand GTX275 or GTX260.

The two cards were both from a member on a popular auction site who was selling HIS-authorized refurbs and open box stock, first one went with artifacts after 3 weeks, this one lasted 2 and now has the same problem but is unusable. Looking around these particular cards are just unreliable.

You've had bad look with 4870's - so yeah, try and bag a second hand GTX 260 216.
