65" on a stand vs 75" wall mounted?

@hornetstinger, either that or a kidney!

Before you compromise on a soundbar have a look at some discreet audio systems.

Something like this as starter

77” for epeen.

You're showing me pretty things that I can't afford now :(. I'll take note though, thanks!

@hornetstinger Why are you constantly spamming links to random systems the OP doesn't care about or want?
A Sony 77" A84K is on its way! £2800.

The Samsung Q30b looks sweet but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a Sony HT-A3000 for £299 (albeit Refurbished). I don't need a sub and the rears will come later :)

I also picked up some Philips Hue ceiling lights for £350.

My wallet is done for but I still need to get a TV stand!

o_O

Good job on the TV, it's gonna be ace.

I think you've made a mistake with the soundbar though. Adding the rear speakers will cost another £449, which is a huge joke of a price. Total cost is then £749 and if you were to get the sub then the system would total £1128.

A Samsung Q990b full soundbar system with sub and rears is £874 from Amazon and the reviews of the system really do speak volumes. It's an amazing system.

There's also the LG S95 soundbar system at under £1k.

So he doesn't make a mistake and getting a soundbar. That system I linked to will outperform soundbar and allow you upgrade. And not buy low quality soundbar, Samsung or otherwise

It took some time, but finally, the tv is on the wall! The 77" is a perfect fit! I'm happy with the result. Just a bit of cable management, and I'm all done.... for now :)

I'd love to have a fancy surround setup, but it won't work with the space and all, hence the soundbar.

@hornetstinger , @-Ad- , thanks for all of your help.

Could look into the Sony HT-A9 then utilise the TV for the acoustic center channel.
