Absolutely.. thats what I did.. Make sure you get it price matched, that saved me a couple of hundred pounds.buy from john lewis simple as that really
I've got one too. It's been great. I'm itching to upgrade though, because 65" isn't big enough for me!I've got the 65K5510 and its great.. Can be had for around £7-800 now i believe.
As above, buy from company that gives you (free) 5/6 year warranty, just in case.

I already have a projector, that's not the problem. I want a large TV for my living room that has lots of ambient light.
Oh it's changing. The Hisense 75" has come down £500~ since last year. Whereas the 65K5510 has stayed the same.It is a problem in respect to cost once you get over 65" though. There are options, but you're talking thousands upon thousands. I don't see this changing anytime in the near future either.
get a projector then. the bigger you go unless you buy OLED (£5K for a 65" from Sony). your going to have lots of issues with panel quality and the picture quality of the tv as well as backlight issues. also if you stick with LCD you have all the other issues like ghosting and uniformity issues.
OLED is the true upgrade path from LCD. if you cannot afford OLED and want a big screen then it has to be a projector.
Where do you pick up this rubbish from? please post links. I have a Sony 75X9405 and had no problems.

here you go.
same tv as you LMAO.
I read one person had a bad screen. Not "your going to have lots of issues with panel quality and the picture quality "
Just go to sony direct if you want a cheap tv.
If buying from John Lewis, buy in store, even if they don't have it. They can order it for you. Customer service over the phone is handled by a separate company and will likely cause you a lot of frustration should anything go wrong. (I used to work there and had to deal with the monkeys from the call centre all the time).
