Well I thought I'd be the 1st to open a thread about it, I assume that this will supercede the 600D and delete the 500D.

Anyone have any idea when this will be available in the UK?

As I was just about to order the 600D and this has put my plans on hold.

Does anyone know the differences from the 600D to the 650D? Is there much difference?

Even if it did have 24mp, new processor etc., I question the difference it's going to make to your ability to take photographs. You could be waiting months.

I agree, sometimes you've gotta take the plunge, if we all waited for the latest and greatest we'd never buy owt !

I honestly wouldnt bother waiting.

The 650D will most likely offer a kick in MP, a few more AF points, some new video options & modes and maybe a touch screen.

Its certainly nothing that would make me think I'd bought the wrong model as a 600D is already a superb bit of, it doesn't stop becoming that because a new model is released.

Also after a quick look, there seems to be some decent deals to be had on one.

Waiting is pointless the upgrades are low key ones at that, it wont make any difference at all. A few mp or slightly faster processor and the price increase that goes with a new product is just a big no no...especially on 600d style camera , ie the body will still be naff, with limited af cross points etc

Should be using the digic 5 processor rumours vary between sticking with 18 or moving up to 24 mp (would prefer them to stick to 18 and sort out better noise reduction)

Possible Feb release? Or more likely Feb announcment?

And thats about the extent of the rumours so far.
