670 pcb length

I think it was because they were originally going to release it as the 650 or something like that. Then they saw what AMD had to offer and they laughed their heads off. So instead of making the 670 a tiny thing, they added the extra bit on to make it look like a £300+ card.

Well I got 670 coming tomorrow and its small pcb one
but its bugging me about small pcb so it will be going back
and I will go for 7950 or 7970 instead

A few of the top of my head that use the full length 680 pcb are

Gigabyte wf x3
EVGA FTW
KFA2 oc model.

What are you going on about? How does Nvidia not being able to make their top end chip lead you to that conclusion?

KFA2

I dont know who cares but the KFA2 oc card i just bought is a full length version ( same size as geforce gtx 260 ) with 6pin and 8 pin power connectors. Runs at 70 degrees under bf3 gaming after an hour, the fans are quiet as i can only hear my case fans running.

Goold card for the money IMO.
