Hi there, I've been checking my new PC and i think my CPU temps are too high. I have a 6700k being cooled by a CM 212 Evo, running prime 95, temps went around 75'C +

I got my old cooler from my old machine to give the 212 evo another fan (So now, push, pull and case fan) Idle temps have lowered although max temps are still quite high? running more tests now, (And increased the fan speeds) My temps are nearly the same, just it takes longer to get to 75 +

Just wondering if any of you guys have any ideas?

I don't think P95 is a very good test these days TBH, unless of course you use the CPU for similar workloads.

Run something like ASUS realbench and see how it does with temps, even so 75c isn't that bad, unless that's stock speed?

Everything is stock, and I have turbo enabled, I'll give that asus thing a go now, I think it could be the Case though, I'm running a Thermaltake Level 10 and the only front fan is where the HDD's go...

I did a quick search and aperently HW monitor could be lying?? Anyway, I ran the Asus benchmark with Realtemp and I hit a max temp of 71 is this bad?
