Hey all I'm back with a build I did myself thinking I would have no problems all the stutters and fps drops come back again. I genuinely don't know what's going on in games like MW2, Halo Infinite I have no problems a smooth experience from start to finish but older games/UE engine games seem to just cause my GPU to clock down like crazy the craziest being Transformers Fall Of Cybertron. It's weird cause Halo Infinite and MW2 run perfectly on 1440p high settings, Anyone have any tips I can try? Specs below
6700XT (Reference)
5600x
MSI Mag B550 Tomahawk Max
Corsair RM750
Samsung 980 1Tb
G Skill Trident Z 3600MHZ 32gb (2x16gb)
What I've tried
DDU and re installing, driver install only and 22.5.1
Set clocks to manual with 100 below boost clock
Set a fps cap in RTSS
Turned off VSYNC/Freesync
Disabled global c states, switched to low current idle, forced TF to run on 3-4 threads via affinity
Running in windowed borderless
Using 2 dedicated PCIE Cables not daisychaining.
About to lose my mind lol all I want to do is play Mordhau and my childhood game (TF) smoothly
thanks for any help
