Hi,

Can anyone recommend me a silent fan I can get for a 6800GT or what fan size i need? It isnt doing much graphics work at all, so something as quiet as possible would be great.

Also is it hard to change the fan on these cards?

the arctic cooler is silent, just took out my 6800GT to sell as i fitted 7800GS+ AGP in its place but it was completely silent & lowered the temp more.
It does need a slot on the back to exhaust the hot air tho so you need a space near AGP slot

Just out of interest sry to hijack your thread OP, whats the 7800gs+ AGP like over you old 6800gt? is it a real big difference performance wise?

I only have 3dmark 03 installed atm but previous score of 12000 is now 15923, so big jump there,

the part that does the CPU check with those fighting giants (proxycon ?) always is a bummer with FPS dropping to 6 at one point & I always thought my graphics were involved but it did the same again so don't know whats to do with that, my CPU is AMD4000+ at stock
