what games- not 100% sure, I havnt pc games in ages but nothing too taxing till I upgrade the graphics card, maybe something like c&c...uhm most likely older shooters.

q6600, 2gb ram, 22inch monitor but see below

res unsure, for years i could never play anything at decent res

£60 max but cheaper the better. I was thinking about the 2600xt (i think it is) but been told iam just best getting a non dx10 card, can vista premium still run without dx10 at full eyecandy?

If you can stretch to £70, you can get the outstanding value for money / bang for buck x1950pro on ocuk :D

And that's pretty good because you will most likely have to pay postage on your suggested product anyway, and knowing where you mean, it will be more expensive than ocuk most likely.

Honestly, if you can afford £70 get the pro. Most peeps will recommend it at that price point.

Yes :) Vista graphics are not actually dx10, but a dx9 variant so are fully compatible with dx9 cards :) (like the pro).

The pro on here is the cheapest I have seen it with a casual look at my usual sites. It a darn good deal from ocuk whichever way you look at it.

Just because im a fanboy of this card.... 7600gt :D

(x1950pro would definately be a better choice at that price though...)

I sold a agp 6800gs 512mb on a popular auction site for £55 so for an ultra a similar price or a bit more is reasonable, but the 1950 pro is a bargain at £70

I can't actually believe people are buying 6800's at those prices to be honest, get so much better cards for only a titchy bit more.
