I waterblocked my 6800xt nitro plus. I'm delighted with it and have no plans to put it back on air anytime soon but when the time comes I'm a little concerned about the thermal pad for the backplate.

It's looks to be stood on end. Where would I get something to replace it? It's like a standard pad but with the glue on the edges.

Thanks

Can we get a better photo, maybe where it's actually in focus, and another from the top down?

I don't think that's a pad for the memory - looks like foam just for spacing/cushioning purposes.

Regardless, you've torn that **** up! Did you remove it with a crowbar?

It was stuck on both ends there was no way to remove the backplate with it intact. You can see the remnants left on the PCB. Also it's feels like a thermal pad material rather than just foam but I could be wrong.
