6870/6850 volt mod ( trixx beta )

So it offers about the same features as MSI's Afterburner then?
-which from the last beta version allows voltage adjustments for the 68*0's
 
yes it offers the same features as MSI's Afterburner. but extra thing it offer is it as a gadget monitor.

Sorry about that, but I've finally found a program that can adjust the voltage of my HiS 5850 :)

Correct me if I am wrong but Trixx allows you to overclock beyond 1000Mhz core clock where as Afterburn is limited to 1000Mhz...
 
Ah ok, with 2.1.0 Beta 4, it is 1000Mhz for me using my XFX 6870 whereas Trixx was a lot higher, unless I am missing a setting which I need to change..
 
^ No prob. Should be right down the bottom of the list. Third from last maybe. Set it to 1 and restart Afterburner
 
Just to get an idea, what sort of clocks might I be able to get on my 5850? And what are safe volts to chuck through it? I have my 860 on the raggedy edge, now to match it with my gpu :)
