6950 died

ok so gaming on guild wars 2 last night every thing was great but when i turned pc on this morning i just get a black screen and the fan is ramped to the max but pc boots up fine there a red light on the back of the card so do i buy a 7950 or wait a few weesks for the next gpu to come out

specs are i72600k @ 4.4 watercooled
western 1tb hdd
8 gig ripjaw 1333
z68 gigabyte motherboard
corsair 750 psu

I think the new AMD cards are due around next month, so if you can wait it might be better. If, on the other hand, you don't want to wait - and I wouldn't blame you either, then there's plenty of good deals of late which would deliver a very worthwhile performance boost over your 6950.

I think he just did some clever gift buying there, i bet it was just sat in the garage next to the motor bike and golf clubs he bought his wife the previous christmas

Built it for her 2 years back for wow but it just collects dust in the cupboard for the last year
