Hi guys I've been experiencing some new problems since my new Dell UltraSharp U2312HM 23" Widescreen LED Monitor - Midnight Grey

I've came to believe it is either the GPU or monitor these are some of the weird things it produces -

these are some examples in games - I have experienced weird shadows on Skyrim, Fifa now.

This is a photo of the weird GPU or Monitor was hoping one of knowledgeable people could give me an answer

Hello and welcome to the forums :)

I'm afraid your links don't work so it's hard to say.

What is your system spec?

I'm pretty sure those shadows in WoW are normal, can't comment on the other games.

Shadows done properly tend to murder the fps so developers tend to do them in rubbish quality.

And my system specs are as follows -

AMD 955 BE at stock
8GB XMS3 running at 1333Mhz
Gigabyte 790XT board
HIS 1GB 6950 Non-Reference
500GB Seagate Barricuda
Corsair TX 650W PSU

It's DVI that came with the monitor. Just seems odd to pay £200 for a monitor and these things are happening they didn't before with my old monitor. Don't get me wrong the Image quality is absolutely amazing with this monitor but these malfunctions do annoy me.

Try to test it on a HDTV with DVI>HDMI cable? are you running the monitor at its native resolution?

I'd be inclined to say monitor fault for the colour/windows anomalies... the WoW shadows is normal I think, 90% of games have **** looking shadows even if you throw a £500 GPU at them.
