6950 Faulty?

The graphics card looks fine to me, try other games first and update drivers and any updates for the games. I Think you are making a fuss about nothing there and it's just a glitch in the game or the drivers have not been optimised well for that game yet. It's not faulty hardware for sure. The yellow borders on your browser is it only on your browser or all windowed programs or folders ? Also make sure you don't have some strange theme set or the desktop defaults have been changed maybe a good idea to reset them back to defaults as a test.

The yellow border thing does it happen when you have nothing open underneath the Chrome window?
