6950 issues

So I recently flashed this to unlock the shaders only.
But when I run 3dmark Vantage, it would crash back to desktop, sometimes after the first test, other times after the second test.

Currently running at 3.2GHz Q6600 (400 x 8) @ 1.35V
Everything else is pretty much at stock.

Is there anything I need to do to the 6950 settings in CCC? Do I need to change anything on the mobo bios?

Any feedback or thoughts would be REALLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

does it do this with any other bench tests or games ? or just vantage ?

In all honesty, I have not tried any other benchmark or games. Was thinking of whacking on Crysis 2 and Shogun 2 to try them out, but I figured if its failing at Vantage then surely it will have no hope in hell with those games?

I would really be grateful for any insight you may have from your own experiences.

well personally ive not had this issue, but it could be a driver issue or the card needs a few extra volts
i would check it with another bench or game just to see what happens
what drivers are you using

Im using the latest drivers off the AMD website. Er 11.3?

Try the heaven benchmark:

Download the basic version HERE

Try MSI kombuster and monitor the card with Afterburner. You could be running a lite warm. If you are, set a custom fan profile.
