6950 xt 110c junction temp ok?

If I remember correctly 110°c is the thermal limit for the GPU hotspot on these cards. It's worth checking the clocks to see if it's throttling. What is the GPU edge temp?

Either way that seems too hot. What's the airflow like for your setup?

Edge temp was 80-83c got 3 intake and 3 outtake
Please make sure your fans are working in the right direction it’s an easy mistake to make. If they are, are the fans on your graphics card working. Go into the drivers and check what kind of fan curve you have. Let us know how you get on. Might be worth providing pics of your case.

110°c is common on a 6950xt a non Overclockered xt is 100°c so it all depends which 6950 xt you have.

Did you set a custom fan curve and what case airflow do you have ?

Sounds too high to me. Reviews put the hotspot temp at less than (but close to) 100C for the reference design. So I think if it's going above that then there's reason for concern.

As others have suggested it's probably worth checking that your airflow etc. is all correct. Maybe you can tell if your other components are at OK temps?

What are the other temps on the GPU? If there's a big difference between the t-junction and other readings on the GPU die it could indicate the cooler isn't making proper contact with the die which (assuming you haven't altered it) is a manufacturing defect and warrants a replacement. Otherwise it's no good if it's getting that hot and throttling.

f gpu temp 66c ultra setting on hogwarts but junction temp still 110-112c

RMA time, sounds like a bad mount! Fwiw the 6950XT I had peaked around 100C hotspot but would mostly hit the 90s in gaming with a good 20-25C delta to edge temp...
