Looking for a mechanical keyboard within the price range above.
Was looking at the Corsair Vengeance K65, however I would quite like some backlight due to my room being pretty dim / dark even with a lamp or main light on (lamp just broke, fml).

The Corsair Vengeance K70 looked like the next step up, however it's got a keypad and I'd quite like a tenkeyless keyboard to save space due mouse smacking into the side of my keyboard far to often.

Is there a middle ground of the above two keyboards? if not I will probably just end up buying the K70

why all the mechanical keyboards such a stinking ripoff they used to be the cheap until they got turned into this gaming scam crap..

And Qpad are just re branding Chinese stuff there same keyboard model is used by Monoprice and bunch of other companies go look and notice the price difference.

the only thing stopping me from ordering right now is which switches to buy, i wont be gaming as much therefore i want something which will enable me to type fast. im not sure if this is true koogle but many people recommend and use Qpad keyborads.

you can get a Logitech G710+ for around £100 if you look around, I've just got one as my 8 year old £20 keyboard finally broke and its night and day.

How about the K90

K90 (YES, YES & YES). I have one and it's the best keyboard I have ever bought still working, no problems at all. price should be lower than what I paid now as it was over £100 when I purchased one.

The K90 has Cherry-MX Red which is perfect for gaming.

Are brown switches easy to type with?

Yes you make some serious typos to start with cause your not used to it but that's any new keyboard.

My biggest issues is the capslock key I hit it by mistake quiet a bit for some reason.

Ive found the exact same thing, keep hitting caps for some reason :/
k710+ here, tbh it's not takren too much getting used to but Im sure Ill be keeping it for a while :D
