£700 Gaming Computer

Might check the price difference out and may swap it :D

Just seemed the better case

I would like to go with SB but the recent flaw has put me off

Edit:

Difference between the 5770 (In my basket) and a 6850

5770:

- Core Clock: 850MHz
- Memory: 1024MB GDDR5
- Memory Clock: 4800MHz (Effective)
- Memory Bandwidth: 76.8GB/s
- Processing Cores: 800

6850:

- Core Clock: 790MHz
- Memory: 1024MB GDDR5
- Memory Clock: 4000MHz (Effective)
- Memory Bandwidth: ?
- Processing Cores: 960

That is meaning less, how many more Shader cores does a 6850 have over a 5770!!! its loads faster.

the 5850 is the fastest in this price bracket.

Although I'm not a fan of Intel and I've got to wait for the time being for the money I might wait and see what happens to SB as it might be a better investment than buying an AMD Phenom II?

Its not is it!!

The Harddrive is small, there are single platter 500Gb ones for the same money.

The case and psu is crap, never skimp on the psu.

I could pop into the Members Market and do better for less money.

anuraj what is with you and the antec 100 lol ;) and why does eveyone allways leave a network card out? and fans?

heres my attempt :)

Edit: btw this is quite a high spec build and is only £50 over :)

Its ok, but for gaming Quad core wins every time.

The 970BE is the same price at £139.99

Ram is a bit expensive too.

i suppose the ram could be cut down.

in gaming why are quad cores better? is it cuz they don't take advantage of 6 cores? and doesn't a 6core like underclock some of its cores and boost the others up in gaming anyway?
