Its a work machine, I don't need any peripherals apart from speakers. I was looking at Creative T6600.

Graphics card doesn't really matter but it must have lots of hard drive space (was thinking 2x wd 640gb aaks). Quad core would be nice so I was thinking a q6600 I guess. I don't need a copy of windows either.

Also I would like to throw in a tv card. The Akasa zen case seems nice and good value. I threw together a spec in another thread but I would like to see what you guys come up with. I don't know the best mobo/ram options at the moment. I will put a modest overclock on it (3-3.2~ghz) so I don't have to go too high with voltages as stability is important and its not my machine.

Thanks very much for any help.

Something like this?

Threw it together while bored at work. I don't think I missed anything.

hi mate great looking system if your a gamer i would ditch the gfx card for a ati 4850 and ditch the quad for a E8200 great overclocker minst you i am being a bit of a green eyed monster but thats the way i would split it more gfx power would maybe sacrifice the psu to keep the mobo there are cheaper more reliable alternative you dont always get what you pay for i know the power is a major factor but ocuk dont sell crap

Thanks for the advice guys, nice spec, I don't need any gaming ability on it though so I'm not bothered about that!
