£700 Spec

That Viper RAM has a heatspreader so isn't what we would call low profile. That is to say there might be issues fitting heatsinks over the RAM depending on the heatsink. This is why I used the XMS3 kit. Good price and low profile :)

True, but I went with the Viper as it's cheaper atm, and it doesn't seem to rise much further than the XMS3 over the PCB, however deals change and I'm not exactly sure when he's going to be ordering the system :p

Fair enough. Just like to explain why I choose what I use in the specs. The reason I used the stock heatsink on the mini-itx system is that again fitting tower heatsinks can be an issue due to the layout of the small mobo, the heatsink could overhang the PCI-EX slot which you want to put the GPU in obviously. We are used to seeing the Z77-D3H at £80, as it's currently £90 I thought I'd use the mini-itx with built in wifi just to show what's possible.

I hope we are helping more than we are hindering. I look forward to seeing what he ends up with :)

Oh P.S Bacon suggested the T120, which is good but there is also THIS heatsink too which is good value and uses rubber pushpins to mount the fans (absorbs vibration).

One or 2 members had issue with the TX 550w PSU, one in the link below:

I think the trouble is that Corsair has a good reputation, so when people get a faulty product they make a bit more fuss. XFX PSUs are made by seasonic and yet I've seen a few people complain about them too. People who are unhappy always seem to be more vocal than people who don't have issues ;)

Corsair have a good rep for RMA, this is why we like to suggest Gigabyte products aswell. GB have a 3 year warranty with a UK based RMA, so if something does go wrong things should be set right with the minimum of fuss :)
