£71 for a Tank Sim

obviously BF2 is much simplified and can no way be called a sim.

I could never get on with lock-on, the graphics weren't all that good, the sound was crap and its full of bugs.

LOMAC visuals are stunning for its age (Over 3 years iirc). Still rules the market for combat flight sims too (well modern day away)

Please lets no forget that *just because* it isnt supported by a major distributor you can rule it out - its' a hardcore simulation of modern tank warfare and it's pretty good apparently!

I do live on Button Moon. Its taken this many years for PCs to catch up to the requirements of lockon

IMO, TFX was more stunning when that came out considering only the lucky people had a 486DX2. Strike Commander was awesome too at the time, although the flight model was pretty arcadey, still fun tho.

it doesnt look any better than BF2 in my eyes, although im sure you can do more with your tank
