7200 vs 5x00

Seagate think lower rpm drives are a fail and I'm inclined to agree.

Tbh I'm thinking about putting my barracuda in an external housing and using a long cable to hide it well away from me. The noise is so irritating.
 
I see from googling that the Seagate doesn't seem to get very good reviews though or in general in terms of drive fail rates.
