Hihi

I'm looking to get the best I can out of my 720BE, it's currently at 3.6gHz (18 multiplier, with the standard 200mHz HTT link), vCore is 1.4375 at the moment but I don't think it actually needs quite this for 3.6 (I haven't had time to try dropping it yet) - I'd guess it's 1.42 for 3.6gHz.

Basically I'm looking to get 3.8-4gHz, as I have plenty of temperature headroom (max 40 and the HSF barely warm to the touch at load) - I'm pretty sure the voltage is going to be the limit.

What's the max safe voltage for this chip for 24/7 usage? I'm wanting to get perhaps 3 years out of it. I've seen reports varying from 1.45 (which I think are just people getting jumpy because newer intel 45nm are so low) up to 1.5 or even 1.55 - but I can't tell whether they mean 1.55 (or even 1.5) for a quick attempt at a max clock, or whether that's safe for fairly constant usage.

Any experiences?
