I've been checking some reviews of the recently released 7300GT that have DDR3 memory and they seem like a real bargain. They beat anything at there price point on there own, but put them in SLi and you get nearly 100% increase in performance, unlike most SLi set-ups. So reviews show them going toe to toe with a 7900GT
.
In SLi that would mean you have a total of 16 pixel pipes, 8 vertex pipelines, and 32 shader engines
(woot, I can add up).
OCUK have there own branded 7300GT's with DDR3 memory (clocked at 1200mhz effective, versus the 1400mhz effective of the review I saw) at only £58.74, so 2 of these would be £117.48 inc VAT.
So, is this the SLi bargain of the century??
PS: On one website they used RivaTuner to change the ID of the 7300GT to a 7600GT, thus letting them mix the 7300GT and 7600GT in SLi, so this card might be good for people using 7600GT's and wanting alittle more power.
