Ok, so here's the thing, I bought 2 OCUK 7300GT's GDDR3 from OCUK a few days ago, they arrived very quickly, yippee, and I eagerly unwrapped them to give them a spin.
I picked up the box of the 7300GT, noticed it that the card was made by Palit and then read the specs as labeled on the box.
Oh dear.
Instead of the GDDR3 memory running at the 1200mhz as advertised on the OCUK website, the memory infact runs at 1000 mhz
.
Thinking this might be a mistake, I checked the palit website.
Sure enough, the website stated that the memory of the 256mb 7300GT ran at 1000mhz, while the 128mb version operated at 1200mhz memory speed.
As OCUK doesn't sell the 128mb version, I'm kinda unhappy that they advertise an incorrect memory speed for these cards.
They might want to get the discrepancy fixed
