Hi, haven't posted in a while, so I haven't really got a clue about what is best value for money anymore.

My current system is as follows:
Case: Fractal Design Arc R2
PSU: Xigmatek Tauro 600w
CPU: i5 3570k
Motherboard: MSI Z68A-GD65
GPU: AMD Radeon 6950
RAM: 8gb DDR3 1600MHz
HDD: 1tb, no SSD

My requirements would probably be having a smaller case. I'm not really sure whether I should get all new parts or keep some.

Thanks!

Ryzen 5 1600 (or similar) mATX board (MSI B450), 16GB DDR4, Radeon RX 580 and a smaller case. CIrca £500 for that lot, not inc. case.

and.... GET AN SSD NOW! :D

I'd probably sell your system as a whole if you have no use for it, and use the £200(ish) to add to your spec further mind.

GPU and Screen if you want to save cash or increase graphical Horse power/resolution/Hz .

Also depends on the games you play, if wanting to dig into BFV or COD then worth above moving to .
£600/50 will see you with Vega 54/64 and 1440p 144hz 27" monitor .

Which 1440p 144hz monitor would you recommend, I had an asus vg248 144hz 24" monitor (wasn't ips or anything), and I liked it, but the image quality was a bit crap.
If I only upgraded my GPU, would the i5 3570k be a bottleneck at all?

So nowadays AMD is best for value for money? I'm definitely getting an ssd, after using a laptop with an ssd for months, then going back to my PC, it feels like a pentium 4 or something

Forgot to mention that I mostly play racing games, like Dirt Rally, rFactor 2, iRacing etc... also I play CSGO which runs fine right now, and the godforsaken fortnite

Your at an awkward crossroad.
If your i5 is overclocked and running 1440p can get away with modern games, just about although now shift with all newly released AAA games at 1080p 60hz high settings wanting i7 4 core or ryzen 1600 - specially likes of BF games .
Do you still have your 144hz monitor ? Being 1080p want fastest core speed you can get followed by cores
