As the title says, i just returned my S27A950D because the whole screen was crooked thanks to the not so good foot/design.
I did however love the picture and the 120hz so the 750D caught my eye but i have read that a lot of people are having problems with the displayport on this monitor.
So i simply wonder if this has been fixed in the latest nvidia drivers? I remember that i read something about this a while back but i can't seem to find it again.
Im using a GTX 570 btw.

Thanks in advance / Halven.

Hi I have one and have had a few problems as I can gather they haven't changed anything I get dp issues if they had revised it I would be sending mine back and asking for an exchange.
Regards

Displayport seems pretty dodgy at the best of times - had no end of hassle with it on my BenQ XL2420T - the latest nVidia beta 306.23 do seem to have some changes to the displayport support tho which may help with the 750D but not having one I can't be sure.

I seem to be one of the lucky ones with no problems with dp and 750d

You know I have been running a 750D on and off on a Radeon 7950 and GTX 670 for several months and can count the number of issues I've had on one hand. Using the supplied DP cable and the shortest MiniDP to DP adaptor I could find. The feedback I have been gathering on this issue from users does suggest that the cable could play a role as could additional monitor/devices connected to the GPU at the same time. There also seems to be a greater failure rate on multi-GPU setups (Crossfire and SLI) but I haven't really gathered enough data to draw any meaningful statistics so take with a pinch of salt.

Gah this sure is a hard choice.
Either i buy another 950D and live with the ****** design which results in it being askew or i go with the 750D and hope i don't run in to any DP issues.

I would not buy a 120hz monitor atm. There's not enough options to choose from imo. The VG278H seem to get a lot of positive feedback but the monitor is way overpriced. The best price/quality seems samsung atm but they dont come without problems afaik. Ive owned 2 iiyama's 120hz monitors and both had dark spots on a white screen and 1 was constantly loosing power (bad power socket on the back of the monitor). Just keep your money and wait for new releases. Im in the same position and thankfully i still got a 19 inch to keep me going while waiting :) I dont know if your in the same position. Gl with finding a decent monitor. For me its been a nightmare!
