750W enough for 9800X3D and 7900 XTX/4080 Super

the problem with PSU's and the recommended PSU's is people don't realize the recommended PSU is for total system, and the parts manufactures take into account you buying an £30 piece of poo PSU
if it was 700w you can probably run in it a good quality 550

i have a argument with a friend many years ago, that worked out for is system i5 2500k / R9 290 and all the other crap be needed a 1000w psu and back then it was an insane amount of money for a 1000w PSU
but he still went and got one because if you add up all the numbers... he needed 950w

my brother now as a 5700x3d / 7800 xt running on a 500w unit

From a 7900xtx user, Please Please go over the recomended by at least 200watts. The 7900xtx has power spikes that make any run of the mill PSU struggle and will let you hit Black Screens under intense gaming.

Learned that the hard way when I plugged in my old 1600w PSU from 10 years back and got constant crashs until I switched to an FSP 1000w quality PSU.
Probably just a knackered PSU i've been running an XTX and a 7800x3d for the last year or two on a 850W evga and a superflower with zero issues
