This really would be the perfect card for my parents PC, my dad is dying to play Oblivion but his 9600 Pro can't handle it.

benchmarks i seen puts the GT quite a lump ahead of the 6800GT and ultra, and the 7600GS being not much behind the 6800GT

Edit: all reviews have been PCI-E though

just placed my order, with a bit of luck the card will be here Friday, and i'll post some benchies, will be a compare with a 6600GT but since that is a good upgrade, should be of some use to someone in OCUK land....

Unlikely, if it is the Leadtek 7600GT then it is still on pre-order.

Anyone know if this card use the PCI to AGP bridge that the AGP 6600GT needed? Or has it been developed from the ground up for AGP?

I believe that is what made the AGP version higher in cost.

Werent the AGP 6600GTs slower than the PCI-E ones?

Id expect the same from the 7600GT to be honest.
