7600x3d

honestly at the price they are at don't waste your money. Might as well just make the jump up to 7800x3d for not much more. I would wait little longer for the new 9000 series X3D chips and see what happens then. You system is good already.

Depends on the price over here if they arrive.

~8% slower isn't bad and MSRP has the 7800X3D @ $449 and the 7600X3D@ $299 so that's pretty good if 'real' pricing follows (?)

Is the 7600 non-X or 7600x considered the budget king at the moment? I'm speccing a new AM5 budget gaming build and the 7600x3d news has made me second guessing my choice, or hope for better prices in the 9000 series. Thoughts?

Budget yeah, it's a bit faster than a 5800x3d. Or a 7500f I'd you don't need the igpu. Then you get the platform for the future upgrades.
Depends when you need to update, if you're in no rush then just wait as something will always come up.

With the discounts elsewhere it should be the 7700, but we're stuck with a nearly £200 7600 in the UK.

The 7600X doesn't come with a cooler (unlike the 5600X), so you may have to factor that in too.

Based on the prices of the 7600X3D so far, it doesn't look like it'll be any good even if it hits the UK.

If you want to really cheap out, you could get a 8600G. Only saves you £30 at OCUK, but if your graphics card blows at least it won't be so rubbish :o

AMD always do this with launches, $300 for a 6 core on a 2 year old architecture is a joke, wake me up if it arrives in the UK and hits £200.

Surely for you it will be wake you up when it is free in a box of cornflakes. I mean at least 12,000 of your posts has to be you complaining about the price of things, right?

When companies keep trying to rip off consumers with overpriced CPUs and GPUs then there is plenty to complain about. Surely that's better than being a cheerleader for a company that couldn't care less about you.
